At Heneghan and Associates we are dedicating our services to strengthen the trust that has been placed in us.

Heneghan and Associates, P.C. was founded in 1986 by Dean P. Heneghan as a six person civil engineering firm in Jerseyville, Illinois. Today the company has four offices located in Jerseyville, Centralia, Godfrey, and Columbia with approximately 50 employees. The staff consists of 16 engineers and 6 licensed land surveyors complemented by technicians and administrative personnel.

Heneghan and Associates takes great pride in serving communities, county agencies, the State of Illinois, educational and health facilities, commercial and residential developers. Heneghan initially built its reputation by serving rural water districts. It was exciting and gratifying as we were able to be a part of extending water to residents in rural communities. No longer did these residents worry about running out of water or hauling water to their homes. While Heneghan is still working to make life easier by extending water to rural areas, we are also working to improve the streets and highways you drive on, the sidewalks you walk on, curbs, and other transportation related structures. We provide many other services including wastewater engineering, water tank engineering and inspections, dam inspections, construction observation, surveying, and assistance with the permitting process. As we all know the bottom line is it takes funding to complete projects and often the funding is what holds up the completion of these projects.
